Come to our training camp! We’ll train you to become a specialist computer scientist (m/w/d) for application development and ensure you get the perfect start to your working life. With us, you’ll receive unbeatable training in a profession with the best future prospects and work on a socially important topic: the futureproofing of Germany’s public administration.

Here’s how we train

We’ll make you an IT professional in three years. We’re also happy to support you in shortening your training if you perform well enough. In any case, your trainer and our training officers will be at your side every step of the way – both for professional and personal matters.

With us, you’ll be a full-fledged crew member right from the start. As a trainee, while you will have your permanent home base in one of our teams, you’ll also have ample opportunity to get to know the other #OpenSourceAstronauts and their roles in the publicplan cosmos.

Two days a week, you’ll have vocational school, and outside of this, you’ll be in the company working with your team on our e-government projects.

Training content

Among other things, in your training, you’ll learn

What matters when developing IT solutions
How to design and implement application solutions or further develop existing solutions
Which IT systems are suitable for which areas of application
How to ensure IT security and identify threat scenarios
How to translate client requirements into concrete solutions
How to set up suitable interfaces

Your prospects

And once you’ve finished your training? Our training goal is naturally to take you on. If we’re impressed with your performance and you want it, we can give you a job guarantee for the period after you complete your training as early as this stage. You’ll then have many paths open to you at publicplan. You can develop into a specialist for a particular topic or take on leadership responsibility as you become increasingly experienced. We’re also happy to support studies accompanying your professional activity. Together, we’ll find out where your strengths and interests lie. This will allow us to support you in the best possible way.

With an apprenticeship with us, you’re guaranteed to come out soaring.

Prerequisites

What should you bring with you to conquer the endless expanses of e-government with us?

We only have a marginal interest in grades and degrees. Rather, it’s more important to us that you are truly interested in IT topics and already know some of the basics. So, if, for example, computer science classes at school were just your sort of thing, this is already a good prerequisite for applying to us. Or have your perhaps even programmed something yourself? Then show us your project, we’re extremely curious about you!
